CD RELEASE PARTY
Saturday, February 18th, 7:30 pm
Reserved Seating $35

When East Bay Soul hits the stage  be ready to funk your world! East Bay Soul is a combination of instrumental soul funk and rhythm and blues vocals built on a design to discover new achievements rather than extend the past.
The Band: Greg Adams, Michael Paulo, Brian Allen, Johnnie Bamont, Joey Navarro, Darryl Walker, Johnny Sandoval, Lee Thornburg, James Wirrick. And Herman Matthews on drums.

Fueling Adams’ passion for his masterful new CD is the way it came to be and the sensational campaign to make it a reality… it was 100% funded by fans. “This project is a labor of love for so many reasons and a real treat to give back to the fans of my music and East Bay Soul. I really wanted to bring a variety of emotion to the project, songs that challenged me, moved me, hoping that it will do the same for the listener. Come along with us and join East Bay Soul 2.0!”

Are you ready to FuNk your World?

Quite simply this is an incredible show from a group of musicians who generate the sort of tight horn filled rhythms that are both entirely timeless and totally to die for.

If you have not had the opportunity to see East Bay Soul live! Here is your chance to see them up close and personal.

Former Tower of Power mastermind Greg Adams has created this new project called East Bay Soul. Members of the band are Greg Adams (trumpet), Brian Allen (bass), Johnnie Bamont (sax and flute), Michael Paulo (sax), Joey Navarro (keyboards), Johnny Sandoval (percussion), Evan Stone (drums), Lee Thomburg (trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone) and James Wirrick (guitar). But don’t await an instrumental-only band. On the new album East Bay Soul are also a lot of vocals.

Nevertheless the band stands in the tradition of Tower of Power with a strong emphasis on the horns. East Bay Soul is entitled after the San Francisco East Bay Area. The group presents contemporary jazz with a big dose of R&B, just the right mixture to let you dance and groove.
