It all takes place May 8th-11th 2014, and will encompass a range of musical genres, from localand international artists including Jazz, R&B, Reggae, Salsa, Rake ‘N Scrape, and Goombay, to be held at multiple venues throughout Nassau, Bahamas all packaged as a single event under the title “20/50 Music Is Life Festival”.

The Festival will be launched on Thursday May 8th, featuring local artists in “Bahamian Night” featuring Rake & Scrape and Goombay. Friday May 9th has been designated as the ‘Caribbean Party Night’ and will be an all-night event featuring Reggae, Soca, Salsa and Junkanoo. The festival will wrap up with a “Mix Groove” concert on Saturday featuring Nu and Smooth Jazz, R&B, Neo-Soul and Bahamian artists of various genres (Rock, Hip Hop, Goombay, Rake-n-Scrape) in this island paradise. In addition to the concerts there will be a Music Is Life Art Exhibition along with independent daytime events.

A portion of proceeds will go towards scholarships for student to attend our 7th annual Summer Music Camp and Mentoring Program. For more information go to http://www.2050musicislife.com/.
