Milford, CT has a music program that, for over a decade, has been getting a boost from one of my most awesome musical friends: Jay Rowe. Jay Rowe has put together one of the most amazing two-night benefit concerts in the Northeast, with some of the most stellar people of the jazz world.

And it’s about to happen again, April 18th and 19th, with an all-star roster.

Great times, great music, and a great cause: music education.

Come on over to CT! — with Chieli Minucci Too, Chuck Loeb, Chieli Minucci, Nick Colionne, Kim Waters, Marion Meadows, Jeff Lorber, Steve Cole, Nelson Rangell and Jay Rowe.

Two great jazz performers come together for this concert that highlight a variety of musical influences that promise to stir up and maintain a great sense of joy and musical passion!

Jessy J and her band headline this year’s show as she demonstrates her Latin heritage with powerhouse rhythms as a soul-inspiring performer. Her shows are seasoned with authentic Latin zing and packed with real jazz flavor! She is a wonderful singer, songwriter and saxophonist and is currently being hailed as “Sexy, irresistible, sensible, the upcoming sax star, soulful, delightful, top notch, fresh, and terrific!” (www.jessyj.com)

Jessy’s special musical guest will be the very warm and sensual Kim Waters, often referred to as the Romantic Pied Piper of Urban Jazz. He is one of the top five best-selling instrumentalists in jazz. His winning combination of sensitivity and brawn, intellect and emotion, coupled with his technique and soulfulness have helped him to score over thirteen #1 hits and over 20 Top 10 hits.

This will be a show where nothing will be held back – Absolutely nothing! (www.kimwaters.net)
