Jazz saxophonist and singer Patrick Lamb will headline the Central Valley Jazz Fest on June 15 at Pioneer Village. Lamb is a Grammy-nominated artist, who has toured with artists such as Diane Schuur, Bobby Caldwell and Gino Vannelli. He’s also performed with many other musicians. His most recent CD, “It’s All Right Now,” included the contemporary jazz hit single, “Maceo!”

Members of the executive board of the Selma Arts Foundation said they were excited that Lamb will headline the June event.

“He’s a top quality jazz player,” said Mike Derr, a City Council member who also serves on the foundation’s executive board. The foundation is in the process of establishing itself as a nonprofit agency.

The jazz fest will be a fund-raiser for the foundation, which is raising money to help pay for nearly $300,000 in interior finishes for the Selma Arts Center.
