Jazz saxophonist and singer Patrick Lamb will headline the Central Valley Jazz Fest on June 15 at Pioneer Village. Lamb is a Grammy-nominated artist, who has toured with artists such as Diane Schuur, Bobby Caldwell and Gino Vannelli. He’s also performed with many other musicians. His most recent CD, “It’s All Right Now,” included the contemporary jazz hit single, “Maceo!”

Members of the executive board of the Selma Arts Foundation said they were excited that Lamb will headline the June event.

“He’s a top quality jazz player,” said Mike Derr, a City Council member who also serves on the foundation’s executive board. The foundation is in the process of establishing itself as a nonprofit agency.

The jazz fest will be a fund-raiser for the foundation, which is raising money to help pay for nearly $300,000 in interior finishes for the Selma Arts Center.

Get ready and make plans for the best New Years Eve ever at the first annual Governor’s Ball at the Governor Hotel!

He’s one of the youngest Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductees, he’s won three Muddy Awards by the Cascade Blues Assocation, he has toured the world with Gino Vannelli, Jeff Lorber Fusion, Diane Schuur and Bobby Caldwell. He was given the Spirit of Portland Award by the City of Portland and he has his own symphony show coming in 2013… and speaking of 2013.

Patrick Lamb takes over the entire Governor Hotel for a night of elegance and old school funk at one of the Northwest’s most beautiful ballrooms anywhere December 31st. Patrick has always sold out New Years Eve and this year will be no different, except this time co-hosting the event with co-sponsors and his own production company, laser lights show, the highest quality and elegance, music from his top 5 Billboard record and old school funk and orginal music special celebrity guests.

His new hot and sexy band has set records at all the outdoor events this summer and if you’ve seen it – you know what is going to happen so see you there! Patrick always has the best. This year he has real musicians from Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder as part of the band. You don’t have to worry about bad food or poor service involved with this event for your special people involved with this New Years Eve because we have the best with Jake’s Catering.

Does it get any better? DJ OGONE is THE DJ for the Portland Trailblazers and we have given him his own realm and ballroom and called it the third floor ULTRALOUNGE.
