This concert features multi Grammy Award winning guitarist Paul Brown. With over 50 number albums to his credit and numerous number one hits on the smooth jazz charts, Paul Brown has defined the sounds of a generation. His melodic guitar melodies will make you groove. Hailing from Denmark and born into a musical family, Michael Lington is a second generation Saxophonist following in his fathers footsteps. As with each generation Michael taken it to a new musical level in the family becoming an international saxophone star. His latest recording has topped the smooth jazz charts and his smooth and funky style is a perfect compliment to the melodic grooves of Paul Brown. Two amazing artists that will make you move in your seats!

What started as a 10-day series of jazz concerts held on the back of a flatbed truck and at venues all around the City of Clearwater, has evolved into a major international jazz festival and draw for tens of thousands of visitors. Now in its 34th year, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday is a world-class gathering of the some of the greatest talents and greatest fans of jazz. The event takes full advantage of its home in Clearwater, Florida, offering music and art against the backdrop of warm breezes, brilliant sunsets and one of the world’s greatest beaches, on the Gulf of Mexico.

Chris Lightfoot began 2011 with a sold out show at the Roxy, and hasn’t slowed down since, releasing his debut album “The Present Future”; playing shows with his band The Tribe at various local venues (The Viper Room, Key Club, V Lounge, others); and building a loyal fan base on Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade. He’s already released his first single off his sophomore album which is creating a buzz. His unique style is the result of diverse musical influences such as Prince, John Mayer and Lenny Kravitz. “My dad was a professional drummer in the early days of Motown, so I got the funk and soul from him, but my Mom is a total rocker.”

The guitarist and composer’s eagerly anticipated new collection features performances by many of the artists that he has produced or played with over the years, including Boney James, Bob James, Euge Groove, Marc Antoine, Bob Baldwin and Darren Rahn.

Originally labeled as America’s answer to the progressive invasion of such English acts as Yes and King Crimson, Ambrosia quickly attracted the collaboration of such cultural icons as Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. and Alan Parsons. They’ve garnered 5 Grammy Nominations and 5 Top-40 hit singles, including How Much I Feel, Holdin’ On To Yesterday, Biggest Part of Me, and You’re the Only Woman (You & I).
