The Balcones Heights Jazz Festival has been captivating South Texas jazz fans for nearly 20 years. The free concert series takes place each July and August, on Friday evenings at the spectacular outdoor Amphitheater at Wonderland of the Americas.

Internationally acclaimed artists such as Peter White, Slim Man, Paul Brown, Joseph Vincelli, Jeff Kashiwa , and Nils have headlined this prestigious event in years past.

Outdoor seating on the amphitheatre lawn is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Typically jazz fans begin staking their spots with blankets and lawn chairs the morning of each concert. Food and beverages are available for purchase at a variety of booths, as well as the adjacent Food Court inside Wonderland of the Americas.

Revel in the sights and sounds of great live jazz across the reflecting pool of one of San Antonio’s most arresting outdoor venues, the Amphitheatre at Wonderland of the Americas. It’s more than music! It’s one of South Texas’ most anticipated summer happenings. Musical magic at its finest, under the stars at the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival.
