For those of you who have shared my music with me, I wanted to let you know that one of the members of my band has passed away.

Webster Roach fell ill with a stroke last week and died on Monday night due to blot clot complications.

I was fortunate to visit Web on Sunday afternoon and even though he wasn’t his usual, he was in good spirits and he was ready to do whatever it took to get back on his feet.

We chatted about music, music, and music. It was what he loved, what he lived for. I played him a clip from a recent studio recording that we did, and when I told him that he’s gonna be on the new cd, he gave me a big smile.

Sometimes we never know why these things happen, but we have to trust that it’s all a part of God’s plan. Web has definitely left his musical legacy behind for all of us to share.

Here’s a little reminder of what we were able to share with him in his time with us …….
