The “Jazz at the Park” concert series showcases the world’s hottest smooth jazz artists in the casual surroundings of the Resort’s outdoor Events Center featuring beautiful sunset views of Aviara’s rolling hills.

The following Saturday, July 14, 2012, Park Hyatt Aviara Resort welcomes trumpeter Rick Braun, a two-time winner of the Gavin Report’s Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year award. Although Braun had flourished through the usual musician’s life on the road, he has come full circle as a family man, as well as a successful musician, a respected sideman, trumpet phenomenon, composer/arranger, producer and his newest entrepreneurial pursuit, record label co-owner.

The series continues on July 21, 2012 with the smooth sounds of saxophonist Euge Groove. Known for his catchy hooks, seductive rhythms, and an occasional splash of fiery horn. He was nominated for “International Artist of the Year” at the 2010 Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards.

The 2012 “Jazz at the Park” series draws to a close on Saturday, July 28, with veteran guitarist Peter White. Over the years, Peter White has maintained a reputation as one of the most versatile and prolific acoustic guitarists on the contemporary jazz landscape.
