This spectacular two-day event is a juried fine art and jazz festival featuring 100 award-winning visual artists in a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and other artistic originals. The best of Smooth Jazz music will be presented on stage on both days.

The Art Affaire is presented FREE by the City of Rancho Mirage Parks and Recreation Commission. Whitewater Park is located at 71-560 San Jacinto Drive in Rancho Mirage. For more information call City Hall at 760.324.4511.

Saturday, November 10th –
11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.- Brian Simpson Celebrated keyboardist, composer and studio musician, Brian Simpson has been the ‘go-to’ man for everyone from Janet Jackson and Teena Marie to George Duke, Stanley Clarke and Dave Koz, for whom he has had the distinction of being musical director for the past 15 years.

1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Four80East is the brainchild of producers Rob DeBoer and Tony Grace and features guitarist Matt Marshak and saxophonist Marcus Anderson. Together their sound takes the best of contemporary jazz and pop styles and produces an improvisational dance-infused sound. Four80East operates on a plane that expresses their own stylized ability under an umbrella of electrified and funky vibes.

Sunday, November 11th –

11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Solid Ray Woods takes the tradition of soul and rhythm into the future of a new American music. Listen to his voice and his intuitive, skillful drumming, and it’s easy to realize this new artist has captured the history of rhythm and blues, gospel, and soul.

1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Bluz Soul Project

The Bluz Soul Project is a high energy Blues Brothers Tribute Band that is “Comin’ at Cha” with Jake and Elwood providing top notch vocals backed by a power driven horn section. Warning! Huge helpings of dazzling music, high powered horn arrangements, and the need to dance may cause a loss of hair and cool!!
