A Pops Holiday

The Reading Pops Orchestra will continue its popular Sunday with the Pops series with the annual holiday concert that will feature special guest Andrew Neu. Pops conductor Dr. Willis Rapp and saxophonist Andrew Neu have put together an outstanding program of holiday classics for this performance.

From his appearances with Peter Nero & The Philly Pops and the Philadelphia Orchestra to his live performances touring with Bobby Caldwell, Diane Schuur and Smokey Robinson, Andrew Neu is one of the most exciting, multi-genre musicians today. Neu is well-respected throughout the music industry for his work as a saxophonist, woodwind player, arranger, composer and recording artist.

His music is a dynamic blend of classic, jazz, R&B, and Latin. Whether he’s in concert with the Philly Pops, a sideman with national headliners, or performing as a solo artist, Neu’s musicianship and engaging stage presence continues to connects with fans of all genres. Neu has worked with such artists as Sir Elton John, Patti Labelle, Mellissa Manchester, Mel Torme, The Manhattan Transfer, The Four Tops and The Temptations. When he is not on tour, Neu finds time to perform as a member and soloist with the Dave Stahl Big Band and the Brian Pastor Big Band.
