Lee Ritenour’s 2014 Six String Theory Global Music Competition!

Do you play Guitar, Bass, Drums or Piano/Keyboards?
If so, this is your chance to win incredible prizes and professional opportunities!
Registration Open Jan. 15, 2014 through May 15, 2014

We’re looking forward to seeing some amazing, diverse playing in guitar, bass, piano and drums from this year’s contestants! Thanks to all our sponsors who are making possible the 2014 Six String Theory Competition with a total prize package value of over $600,000!
Applicants accepted in Guitar, Bass, Piano/Keyboards or Drums. Rhythm players may apply as solo, duo or trio.

All judging will be through the Advisory Board Judges viewing the submitted videos.
Winners will be announced June 1, 2014.
Guitar Entries will be accepted in the genres of Rock, Blues, Jazz/Fusion, Acoustic, Classical/Flamenco or Country.
Rhythm Section Entries may perform in any contemporary music style (such as jazz, fusion, rock, blues, R & B, etc.).
Prizes include: Berklee College of Music Scholarships, Yamaha Instruments & Endorsements, Perform at an event at Montreux Jazz Festival in July 2014, Professional Mentoring, Crown of the Continent Guitar Workshop & Festival Scholarships & Performing, Monster & D’Addario prizes (see Guitar Competition & Rhythm Competition pages for further details)
If you’ve registered for the competition in a previous year (or even won as a finalist), you may register again. Former grand prize winners may not re-apply.

An applicant may register in both the guitar competition and rhythm competition but each would need a separate registration. Rhythm players (bass, piano/keys, drus) in a duo or trio register as a group; see Rhythm Competition page for details).
