SimpsonNY

On December 31, 2014, Kenneth Anderson will be hosting a benefit concert to support his academic scholarship. “Brian Simpson and friends will feature celebrated jazz keyboardist and composer, Brian Simpson. In addition to being jazz giant, saxophonist Dave Koz’ music director for the past 15 years, Mr. Simpson has worked with a who’s who list in the music industry, including George Duke, Teena Marie, Janet Jackson, Kirk Whalum, and Jonathan Butler. Mr. Simpson will perform at the Huntsville Museum of Art in Spencer Hall as part of an evening of food, fellowship, and fundraising. Joining Brian will be soloist Eugene Fleming, a veteran of such Broadway performances that include: “Dreamgirls,” “Fosse,” and “The Wiz.”

This party with a purpose will be the premiere New Year’s Eve event in Huntsville this year!

A portion of the proceeds will support the Jack & Annie Anderson 2nd Chance Endowed Scholarship established in honor of my parents and their life commitment to education. Qualified students who have overcome adversity in their life and desire a second chance to earn a degree or certificate can apply for the scholarship at Calhoun Community College. Help me to establish a legacy that will continue to provide financial support for these champions for years to come.
