Top jazz and jazz-influenced singers and performers grace Cape Town each year for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. In 2015 the festival will turn ‘sweet 16’ and in honour, Cape Town’s CTICC will once again be transformed into festival central with five stages, one of the largest hospitality villages experienced in South Africa and host more than 38 000 guests. The festival will be held on 27 and 28 March 2015.

The CTIJF is ranked is ranked within the top 10 best jazz festivals in the world and attracts jazz lovers from far and wide. Jazz music itself is a broad genre encompassing everything from pop-y acid jazz to the Brazilian bosa nova style and smooth soul jazz, all of which share roots in blues.

The much anticipated 2015 stellar line-up includes local and international artists and acts from jazz and jazz-related genres. These include:
