Lead bass player from Kansas City, Julian Vaughn stands 6’7″ tall, now getting attention not for his height, but his dynamic and inventive talents as a rising jazz star. His first hit single was “On Your Feet” reached and stayed at #1 on the Billboard for three consecutive weeks. Vaughn grew up in Kansas City, in the church. He began his music career playing the drums there. At age 15, Julian discovered another instrument: bass guitar. Vaughn taught himself to play and soon realized this was not just a hobby but was to be his life’s passion. Vaughn has performed at notable Jazz festivals.

From the Dubai International Jazz Festival he was discovered and signed to a recording contract with “Trippin ‘N’ Rhythm Records”. Vaughn doesn’t write for industry trends, although he understands what flavor works in the radio format, — he writes from his heart. “I want to make music for the people not format. Music is my everything that’s why I love doing what I do,” says Vaughn. His third album (‘Limitless’) was released in may 2015. The first single from this album (‘Ride Along’) has conquered the Billboard Jazz Charts immediately and is currently ranking on # 2.

Keyboardist, composer and studio musician Brian Simpson is known for his ability to sculpt timeless love songs, soulful party anthems and melodies that stay on your mind. Hailing from Gurnee, Illinois, and growing up in a house filled with music, Brian always knew music would play center stage in his life. After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Simpson relocated to Los Angeles where he quickly immersed himself in the local jazz scene.

Late night jazz sessions found him playing alongside artists like Everette Harp, Boney James and Norman Brown. But soon he found himself taking a temporary leave of absence from the jazz scene, touring the world with pop divas Teena Marie, Sheena Easton and Janet Jackson. Placing his success in pop aside, Brian Simpson has always been a working jazz musician. He has toured with some of the greats of recent jazz history, including George Duke, Stanley Clarke, Larry Carlton, Kirk Whalum, and Jonathan Butler. Simpson’s breakthrough as a solo artist began in 2005 with “It’s All Good”. In February this year Brian has his sixth CD “Out Of A Dream” released. This masterwork is the perfect amalgamation of music that is close to his heart – Jazz, R&B, Funk and Soul.
