Unity Festival 2016 will feature special events and activities such as a health fair, wellness screenings, healthy cooking demonstrations and physical fitness activities. Local gardeners will be showcasing one of Columbia’s Community Gardens at the festival site. Food vendors are encouraged to offer healthy choices on their menus to appeal to this group of attendees looking for fresh food alternatives. Our event will be held in the streets at the intersection of North Main Street and Monticello Road, Columbia, SC, 29203. Indoor vendors and performances are located at the Eau Claire Print Building (3907 Ensor Avenue) and the Hyatt Park gym (950 Jackson Avenue).
Throughout the day, we have planned an exciting full program of music including favorite Gospel and Jazz performers. Details on the headliners and further events and vendors will be announced soon. Children will enjoy playing in The KidZone while older kids and adults will enjoy entertainment, step dancing and other hands-on activities as well as take note of Classic Cars and Bikes on display.
A visit to the Main Street Marketplace will be the highlight for our visitors and where commercial and retail vendors will enjoy the most exposure. Fine arts, arts & crafts, nonprofit displays and the aromas of great festival foods promise to draw visitors from throughout the festival grounds. The Eau Claire Unity Festival features a variety of activities and music, including the Terence Young Experience and the Reggie Sullivan Band. Free event!
