The Music City Rhythm & Ribs Fest is a fundraising event purposed to raise funds to support the outreach efforts of Operational Stand Down Tennessee, B Love Foundation Inc and other charitable organizations that are faith-based and community-oriented. Festival proceeds will provide youth academic and athletic enrichment programs and provide occupational empowerment for transitioning Veterans in underserved communities in Middle TN. The event will feature live local, regional and national artists; lots of food, craft and merchandise vendors; live painting by a visual artist; promotional giveaways; back to school giveaways; free dental screenings and “Best BBQ Ribs” Contest.

The Pacific Jazz Institute at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley welcomes the horn driven funky R&B of trumpeter Greg Adams and his band East Bay Soul. Band members include, Greg Adams (trumpet, flugelhorn, vocals), Nick Milo (keys), Darryl Walker (lead vocals, tenor sax), Lee Thornburg (trumpet, fugelhorn, vocals), Johnnie Bamont (sax, flute, vocals), Greg Vail (sax, flute, vocals), Nick Milo (keys, vocals), Kay-Ta Matsuno (guitar), Dwayne “Smitty” Smith (bass), Herman Mathews (drums, vocals) and Johnny Sandoval (latin percussion, vocals).

Show times Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6pm each night.
