The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival takes place on the mainland on the lawn of the St. Clement’s Island Museum. All ticket-holders have the opportunity to arrive early and enjoy a complimentary boat ride to discover and explore St. Clement’s Island from 12 noon to 3 p.m. You will want to be back on the lawn when the first jazz artist plays at 3 p.m. St. Clement’s Island is a Maryland state park and offers a picnic pavilion, picnic tables and grills, hiking trail, educational interpretive panels about island history, and the reconstructed Blackistone Lighthouse, a replica of the original built in 1851. There is also a 40-foot cross to commemorate the landing of the first Maryland colonists founding a colony based on religious toleration. The island is scenic and serene with beautiful vistas, wind-swept vegetation, and activity of various waterfowl.

The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival features vocalist Tracy Hamlin, Jackiem Joyner, and Nick Colionne.
