The Trippin ‘N’ Rhythm family continues to grow with the recent acquisition of flutist Althea Renee, a budding superstar that has somehow slipped under major label radar but one that will soon be fully exposed to the masses for all to see and experience…..

CEO Les Cutmore, This is a very exciting signing for us as we are always looking for something a little bit different and unique, I think Althea has just what we are looking for as a label, She shall fit in nicely with all the other amazing artists on the label . ….

Althea commented, as an artist, it’s important to always stay ready, because you never know when or how your break will come. I got an email inquiring my avalibility for a show. Little did I know that the show was in Dubai.. And that the person inviting me was the CEO Les Cutmore of the hottest record label out there. The 90min. show ended up being a showcase for the label, the next day, and while on a site seeing tour of Dubai, I was offered a record contract in a cab by Les Cutmore. Clearly this will always be remembered as one of the best days in my life …But the best is still to come…..

Label executive Jeff Lunt describes Renee as “Having the moves and looks of Beyonce combined with the chops of Herbie Mann. This girl knows how to own an audience and causes a multi-sensory experience as you enjoy her visually, but more importantly feel her as she pours herself into every note she plays. It’s time that flute take its rightful place as a dynamic and sexy lead instrument alongside the saxophone and Althea is just the lady to lead the way”.

Soon to enter the studio with Grammy award winning producer Michael B. (George Benson) and co-writer and producer for the recent #1 mega-hit “Massive Transit” from label mate Cindy Bradley, Renee will begin work on her label debut slated for some time second quarter 2012. — with David Kunert, Cindy Bradley, Althea Rene, Cindy Bradley, Julian Vaughn, Darren Rahn, Talking Smooth Jazz, Elizabeth Mis, Stephen Quirk, Oli Silk and Randy Scott.
