Flat 9 Entertainment presents “An Evening With Jessy J” at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Virginia G. Piper Theater. Special guest performance by Nils, established as one of contemporary urban jazz’s top artists and producers.

“I believe we are a product of our environment,” confides the stunning multi-talented instrumentalist, singer and composer, Jessy J, who took the contemporary jazz world by storm in 2008 with a #1 Billboard hit for eight consecutive weeks.

Essence Groove Factory featuring Laydee Jai will open the show. This will be a great night of smooth and contemporary jazz, funk and old school music.

Aruba Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival takes place at Renaissance Festival Plaza in Oranjestad.


The Balcones Heights Jazz Festival has been captivating South Texas jazz fans for over 21 years. The free concert series takes place July 10, 17, 24, July 31 and August 7, on Friday evenings at the spectacular outdoor Amphitheater at Wonderland of the Americas.

Internationally acclaimed artists such as Peter White, Slim Man, Paul Brown, Joseph Vincelli, Jeff Kashiwa , and Nils have headlined this prestigious event in years past.

Outdoor seating on the amphitheatre lawn is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Typically jazz fans begin staking their spots with blankets and lawn chairs the morning of each concert. Food and beverages are available for purchase at a variety of booths, as well as the adjacent Food Court inside Wonderland of the Americas.

Revel in the sights and sounds of great live jazz across the reflecting pool of one of San Antonio’s most arresting outdoor venues, the Amphitheatre at Wonderland of the Americas. It’s more than music! It’s one of South Texas’ most anticipated summer happenings. Musical magic at its finest, under the stars at the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival.
