Lynn Olson is a native Californian raised in the Orange County surf, sun and city lifestyle. She’s the mother of two grown children and loving grandmother of one. Lynn has been working for a major university for almost twenty years but dreams of becoming a full-time writer. A finger-tingling bug has been under her skin since college and she’s dabbled in poetry, music narratives, and prose. Her work has been published in various sporting fishing magazines and on-line music sites.

Lynn has also been a jazz connoisseur for nearly two decades. She can be found writing jazz narratives locally and worldwide when she’s not up in the wee hours penning her latest novella. Her writings can be found on several leading smooth jazz websites.

On Monday, July 12, she released two hardback narratives of the 2009 & 2009 Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards and related events. The 2009 & 2010 Canadian Smooth Jazz Award books are 6 x 9 hardback narrative books. They are $19.99 (excluding shipping & handling) and available for purchase via her homepage www.LynnBooks.com. Net proceeds will be donated to MusiCounts, a children’s music education charity in Canada.
