Mindi’s line up will be Oli Silk on keyboards, Mark Jaimes on guitar, Frank Felix on bass and Marc Parnell on drums.

In a career that spans seven solo albums and countless collaborations in the studio and live on stage, Mindi Abair has made her mark on a broad stretch of the musical landscape that includes jazz, pop, R&B, funk and for her latest recording „Wild Heart“, she plunged headlong into vintage rock and soul territory. So far, the powerhouse saxophonist/vocalist has landed ten # 1 radio hits and sold nearly half a million albums. Furthermore, she was the featured saxophonist on the 2011 and 2012 seasons of American Idol and joined Aerosmith for their 2012 summer tour. Abair received a 2014 and 2015 Grammy nomination in the Best Pop Instrumental Album category.

Mindi got laid music in the cradle by her grandmother and her father. Mindi has already taken up the piano at the age of 5. In the fourth grade she picked up the saxophone. Later, she attended Berklee College of Music, where she graduated with a degree in woodwind performance. After college, she went to Los Angeles and played on the streets of Santa Monica. Abair released her first album in 1999 and three years later, she signed her first recording contract. “I’ve recorded, toured and collaborated with so many artists representing so many styles of music – I don’t care about labels or boundaries or preconceptions with music. I just want to play and create and keep moving forward.”
