See you August 12, 2017 for the inaugural Phil Denny’s Armory Smooth Jazz Fête featuring Phil Denny, Ashling Cole, Peter White, Michael Manson , Marcus Anderson and Farnell Newton.

Armory Smooth Jazz Fête proudly presented by Michigan Plumbing will bring together a celebrated list of local, regional, national and internationally acclaimed cross-genre jazz musicians. Styles supported will range from smooth, contemporary, modern, pop and R&B. Armory Smooth Jazz Fete is produced by Lansing-based international recording artist and saxophonist Phil Denny.

Armory Smooth Jazz Fête will be held at the historic Armory located at 330 Marshall Street in Lansing, MI. Armory Smooth Jazz Fête aims to celebrate the properties rich heritage of community related events and activities which has not been done at this level in several years. From 1924 to 2005, the Marshall Street Armory was home to the 119th Field Artillery of the Michigan National Guard. In addition, throughout its nearly 90 years of service to the Lansing community, the Armory has hosted a variety of events, including the training sessions of the National Guard, dances, weddings, circuses, boxing matches, WWII rallies, and St. Patrick’s Day parties. Five years after lapsing into disuse, the Gillespie Group purchased the building in 2010. The fully restored Armory is now home to the Gillespie Group’s corporate headquarters as well as a host of non-profit organizations including the Capital Area United Way which we’re excited to have on board as a supportive and receiving partner.
