The Gallery Suite Jazz Series is hosted by International recording artist and saxophonist Phil Denny and takes place in downtown Lansing’s most unique and intimate artist-owned studio spaces. This hip, urban, raw venue with open wood ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed brick walls creates the ideal backdrop for you and your guests to experience a night of lively entertainment with an emphasis on diversion though pure musical artistry. With a limited seating capacity, those present will feel as though the music is being performed just for them.

This month’s featured artist is chart-topping saxophonist Vandell Andrew. Vandell’s music is diverse, balancing uptempo and R&B grooves which possess melodic melodies with elements of dance and pop. His budding music career was lifted when “Let’s Ride,” the leading single release from the independent 2014 EP “Turn It Up” reached #1 on the Billboard Charts. This success also earned Vandell a Soul Train Award nomination for “Best Contemporary Jazz Performance.”
